Bristol

October 7, 2019

Waterstones provided the books for my appearance at the Redgrave Theatre in Bristol.

Unusually, it was an early start (3pm); more “An Afternoon With…..” rather than “An Evening With…” as advertised.

It’s a smashing theatre in a part of Bristol we’d never visited before. Lovely regency terraces close to the Clifton Bridge, reminiscent of Bath.

Thanks to the early finish Carolyn and I were able to visit a quaint and tiny pub called the Portcullis close to our hotel for a pre-dinner aperitif and (believe it or not) a game of Scrabble.
