Here I am entering through the stage door of the Albany Theatre in Coventry.
The baton representing UK City of Culture will pass from Hull to Coventry in 2021. I’m confident that Coventry will repeat the success of my adopted home City and theatres like the Albany will thrive on C of C status.
Our event went very well apart from the mysterious disappearance of the sound technician during the interval. Somebody tracked her down allowing the show to go on in the best tradition of British theatre!
