Alan Johnson – The Long and Winding Road

Following Alan’s visit to Acapela earlier in 2020, we welcome Alan back to hear more stories about his love of music, meeting his father again for the first time in thirty years and his promotion to Home Secretary.

This intimate evening includes a Q & A session and a meet and greet after the show.

Until 20 January 2011 he was Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer.

His childhood memoir ‘This Boy’ was published by Bantam Press on 9th May 2013. It won the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize, and the Orwell Prize, Britain’s top political writing award. His second volume of memoirs.
