I appear at many literary festivals but am the Patron of only one – Illminster. This year is the tenth anniversary and I was pleased to be in Somerset on Tuesday (June 2nd) to open the celebration.

Here I am on stage with Lulu Taylor who interviewed me about my Harold Wilson biography with her usual forensic knowledge and ability to pick out the bits that will be of particular interest to the audience.

Lulu has her own novel published next month and has promised me a signed copy.
