Newark

November 4, 2019

This photograph of me in splendid isolation was taken on the spacious stage of the Palace Theatre in Newark. As can be seen from the lavish curtains, this is a glorious theatre, one of the best I’ve seen, restored to it’s original Victorian splendour by the local council.

I haven’t been deserted on stage, it’s just that my interviewer, Andrew Wilson, has leapt into the audience to pass the mic round for questions leaving me in the comfort of that leather armchair which seems to be colour co-ordinated with my ‘whistle’.
Great audience and lovely venue.
