Off the Shelf – Sheffield

October 29, 2018

It took us two hours to drive 45 miles to Sheffield Hallam University for my appearance at the ‘Off the Shelf’ book festival. Serves us right for not realising that Sheffield United had a home match that night (while Wednesday were being spanked 3-0 by a resurgent QPR in London).

Always a warm and appreciative audience, Sheffield now demonstrates a passion for music. Given it’s heritage from Joe Cocker to the Artic Monkeys, it came as no surprise.
