Back to the ‘An Evening With….’ theatre tour with regular compare Andrew Wilson. These differ from literary festival gigs in that they last for longer with an interval half way through and Andrew is an ‘act’ in himself joking and quipping his way through two hours and leading the audience in the communal singing of ‘True Love’, the lovely Cole Porter song that forms the first chapter of my latest book – ‘In My Life’.

We’re at the Nuffield Theatre in the centre of town and we arrange for the Hayling Island Bookshop to be the book seller as they were at Portsmouth last week. It’s a wonderful event on a windy night.
