Topping has two bookshops, in St.Andrews and Bath. It was my absolute pleasure to be at the Bath shop on Saturday night to talk about ‘In My Life’ and read an extract.
Next to me in the photograph is my delightful interlocutor, Kathleen. She was a great advocate for the book and even arranged for snatches of some of the songs from it to be played as my audience sipped wine and wiled away their Saturday evening in these warm and welcoming surroundings.
The fact that around 55 people missed ‘Strictly’ to be there is all the motivation I needed.
