Matt Stadlen and I go back a long way; to Salisbury as it happens, in 2014 when he was working at the Telegraph who in those days sponsored the literary festival. A lot has happened since then – to me, Matt, and the town.

Matt has broadcast for LBC, interviewed for the BBC and been involved in numerous journalistic and social media activities.

Here we are, reunited in Salisbury on May 31st. He’s signing his book on birds (another of his passions) and I’m signing ‘Death on the Thames’ after a fantastic evening in the intimate surrounds of the Playhouse Theatre.
